We are Michelle and Stan Nowacki and we are located in Batavia, Ohio, on the east side of Cincinnati. We live on 5 fenced country acres, chosen for the dogs, of course! Our dogs live with us in our house as part of our family. They DO NOT live in kennels and are first and foremost our companions.
Zauberhaft, which means “Magical” in German, is what we believe Weimaraners to be. The goal of our breeding program is Versatility - upholding the origins of this beautiful breed. The photos throughout the site showcase our dogs’ skills.
We have participated in AKC hunt tests and tracking tests, WCA ratings tests, and NAVHDA Natural Ability tests. We also dabble in training for competition obedience and agility. Our next adventures will be in AKC field trials and NAVHDA Utility tests.
Our dogs also participate in, and have excelled in, conformation events. The overall structure of the dog plays a role in its ability to perform as intended. To that end, the breeder’s goal should be to support the AKC breed standard developed by the Weimaraner Club of America.
Michelle has been involved with animals since she was a child, through 4-H and other organizations. She trained her first obedience and Jr. showmanship dog, the family Dalmation named Duchess, as a young teenager.
As an adult, she purchased her first Weimaraner in 1998, “Anja”, who eventually became
AKC/CKC/UKC Gr Ch Grayangel Little Zephanja MH, SD, NRD, CGC, VX, who is the foundation of
Zauberhaft Weimaraners.
When Stan met Michelle he was quickly indoctrinated into the Weimaraner Way and has become a great Weimaraner Dad. The Zauberhaft tradition of versatility, brains, beauty, and birdiness continues...!
We are members in good standing of The Weimaraner Club of America, The Greater Cincinnati Weimaraner Club, The Weimaraner Club of the Washington D.C. Area, and NAVHDA. Our breeding program takes into consideration various health screenings, overall hunting ability, temperament, and conformation. Each breeding is thoroughly researched in order to meet our goals. We do breed infrequently, so please visit the ‘Puppies’ page for the timing of the next planned breeding.
Thank You for Visiting!
