Our Story

We are Michelle and Stan Nowacki.

Michelle has been involved with animals since she was a child, through 4-H and other organizations.  She trained her first obedience and jr. showmanship dog, the family Dalmation named Duchess, as a young teenager.  As an adult, she purchased her first Weimaraner in 1998, “Anja”, who eventually became AKC/CKC/UKC Gr Ch Grayangel Little Zephanja MH, SD, NRD, CGC, VX.

Anja was bred to Ch Seamyst Grayt Slate Von Gaul JH, NSD, RN, a Westminster Kennel Club Award of Merit winner, and both a Winners dog and Award of Merit winner at Weimaraner National Specialties.  She produced 5 puppies and Michelle kept two of them —  Ch Grayangel Miles Smiles vGaul NRD “Miles” and — Ch Grayangel Lady Ella Von Gaul “Ella”.

“Ella” went on to produce 6 puppies by Ch Gaul’s Toujours JH, the third generation.

When Stan met Michelle, she had 3 Weimaraners and was soon to add a 4th, Ella’s son “Zinc”,  Ch Zauberhaft nGaul Hot Commodity JH, TD, V, CGC, NAVHDA NA II.  Stan was quickly indoctrinated into the Weimaraner Way and has become a great Weimaraner Dad.  Together we hope to continue to build the Zauberhaft tradition of versatility, brains, beauty, and birdiness!

We are members in good standing of The Weimaraner Club of America, The Greater Cincinnati Weimaraner Club, The Southern Michigan Weimaraner Club, The Weimaraner Club of the Washington D.C. Area, and NAVHDA.  Our breeding program takes into consideration various health screenings, overall hunting ability, temperament, and conformation.  Each breeding is thoroughly researched in order to meet our goals.  We do breed infrequently, so please visit the ‘Puppies’ page for the timing of the next planned breeding.
