Ch Grayangel Miles Smiles vGaul JH NRD NSD V Miles, Anja’s son, possesses the “carrying” gene, always greeting visitors with a toy in his mouth. He reached up to #10 in Breed in 2004 with limited showing, and was the SMWC Show Dog of the Year 2003 & 2004. His sire, “Slate”, can be seen on the WCWDCA brags page. Along the way, he garnered many Best of Breeds, 2 Puppy Sporting Group placements, a 1st place in the 9-12 mo class at the 2003 National Specialty and placed 4th in his Futurity class. He was invited to and showed at the Eukanuba National Championship, the WCA Top 20 competition, and at the prestigious Westminster Kennel Club show.
 Miles finished his JH title in the Fall of 2009 after a 6 yr hiatus from birds. He'll be working towards gaining his TD title next!   Miles loves the water and took to it very quickly, as he obtained his NRD title a month after being introduced to it at 5 yrs of age!! He’s now in training for his RD/ RDX titles. The photo on the right shows him sitting for instructions for the 2nd retrieve of the RD land portion at the GCWC test fall 2009. We didn't pass, but we're working on it for the next time!
